FAQs

Can you guarantee me a successful sale?

There are a lot of things that go into a successful sale: market conditions, asking price, negotiations, marketing, contingencies, and timing. If a property is wildly overpriced and needs to be sold quick there's a good chance it won't happen. Or maybe there's a sinkhole on the property and it scares off potential buyers.

How many homes should I look at before I make a purchasing decision?

We always recommend seeing at least 4 or 5 homes so you get an idea what you like and don't like. But in the age of the internet many people have already looked at pictures for dozens of homes and already have an idea of what they want. Some people are just looking for a place to call home for a year or two and plan to upgrade in the future, others may want their forever home, and others still may just be on the hunt for their next investment.

How do your fees work?

In the state of Florida agents are required to go through a broker to conduct real estate transactions. When a seller decides to sell a home through an agent they enter into a listing agreement, part of which states the amount of commission to be paid to the brokerage handling the sale. Agents typically list their properties on an MLS, and when they do they agree to share the commission with the brokerage that represents the buyer (if applicable).

Is now a good time to buy/sell?

At RRB Realty we believe in straightforward honesty. No one has a crystal ball and anyone who claims to know the future is lying or has managed to time travel. Jokes aside: our job is never to convince you to purchase or sell a home or investment property. It is to provide you with the information and tools you need to make an informed decision. The answer to this question is intensely personal and depends on your financial situation and long term goals. Real estate is a serious investment and for most people it is the largest purchase they will ever make. We are more than happy to meet for coffee (on us!) or chat over the phone to answer any questions you have about the buying or selling process and provide you with whatever you need to feel confident in your decision.
